About DTS

YWAM (Youth With A Mission) is an interdenominational missions training and missionary sending organization with more than fifty years of experience, located in more than 90 countries throughout the world. In collaboration with “University of the Nations” we are proud to offer YWAM Discipleship Training School at our base! Our mission center is located about two hours south of the capital, Santo Domingo, in the city of Azua.

Students and staff live in dormitories on location so students may be discipled directly in a live learn environment. A student’s schedule will be filled with worship, intercession, lectures, meals, and work-duties.

2021 - 2022 DTS has Graduated!

No “Discipleship Training School” is currently planned. However, if you would still like to do your DTS at our location or would like to staff or direct one, please contact us regardless. You may just be the key for the doors to open on our next school!

Lecture Phase

The lecture phase lasts three months, and in our last school the cost was US$2000.00 for first world countries, and a scholarship of US$500 for third world countries so they would pay US$1500.  Days start with a time of worship and adoration. Every week we bring in seasoned and knowledgeable teachers from different parts of the world to impart the word of God. The teaching language depends on the professor, but we try to have translators for English, Spanish and Creole.

Here are among some of the topics out of a standard 12:
·     The nature and Character of God
·     How to hear God’s voice
·     The Father heart of God
·     Evangelism and Missions

Outreach

Our students go on outreach to many different nations. Past students have gone to Haiti, other parts of Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Israel. Every school has different circumstances and a different calling on where they are to go.

The outreach lasts for two – three months. The cost is between US$2000 – US$3000. This depends on where the Lord guides us to send the students. This cost covers: room and board, airfare, transportation, and translators.
